Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki announced lifting restrictions resulting from the coronavirus epidemic. On Saturday there will be no obligation to cover your mouth and nose in public space.

 
“We change the rules for covering the mouth and nose from May 30. Wearing masks will not be mandatory, if it is possible to keep a distance – with some exceptions. Masks will be mandatory in the store, means of communication, churches or cinemas”, said Mateusz Morawiecki on Wednesday morning.
 
The Prime Minister reported that data on the epidemic in Poland testify to the fact that we have managed much more efficiently than the richest countries in the world – the number of deaths caused by coronavirus is 27 deaths per million inhabitants.
 
There will no longer be limits for amount of visitors in stores or churches. Similar space restrictions cease to apply in gastronomy, but face masks or social distance are applied.
 
Cultural institutions, cinemas, theatres and recreational facilities, such as fitness clubs and gyms, can be opened with the obligation to meet sanitary requirements from June 6 (discos are excluded). The organization of weddings and family celebrations up to 150 people will be also allowed from June 6. Sanitary requirements will also apply here.
